The Relationship Of Frequency Of Instant Food Consumption And Energy Drinks’ Consumption With Prevalence Of Caries

Background: Basic Health Research (RISKESDAS) 2018 shows West Java province has the highest dental caries problem (45.66%) even higher than national average (45.3%). The increase in percentage of people who have problems with community caused by bad habits consuming instant food and energy drinks that can trigger acidic conditions mouth. Objective: To determine relationship between frequency consumption prevalence at age 15–24 years 2018. Methods: This type research is an analytical observational design cross-sectional. study uses secondary data from RISKESDAS Results: From chi-square test, p-value 0.568 means there no significant caries, DMF-T value, while 0.349 also relationship. Conclusion: Frequency not only factor determines occurrence caries.
